Skye Ballet Center graciously offers 30 years of professional ballet teaching in an organized, nurturing, and enthusiastic setting, making it a premier choice for those seeking a Northern Virginia ballet school. Our center connects families to the artists of today’s professional ballet world through our training, Master Class Series, performance exposure, and audition opportunities, including participation in the beloved Northern Virginia Nutcracker.
Students have been accepted into major Summer Intensives, such as the School of American Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Boston Ballet, Ballet Chicago, Houston Ballet, Miami City Ballet, Exploring Ballet with Suzanne Farrell, Philadelphia Ballet, Ballet West, Atlanta Ballet Rock School, Ballet Hispanico, and Washington Ballet. Many of our students have gone on to professional careers with Richmond Ballet, Ballet Chicago, Philadelphia Ballet, Nashville Ballet, Louisville Ballet, and Cincinnati Ballet. Additionally, students have excelled in the prestigious YAGP Competition, securing First Place in the Senior Division, Third Place in the Junior Division, and top placements in Pre Competitive Classical and Contemporary categories. They have also earned invitations to the NYC and Tampa Finals.
Dancers from Skye Ballet Center have consistently placed First and Third in the Top Division at the National Ballet Competition and the Easton International Competition, and they have been selected to compete in the Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition.
